Indigo Girl is the dream business of chef and indigo designer Katie Schimmel. Katie learned indigo dying years ago and has a passion for tie-dye and Shibari style techniques. She is developing a fashion line primarily using the indigo plant! All of her clothes are 100% Indigo is the only plant in the world that naturally dyes blue. It was previously only used for royalty and literal wars have been fought over this gorgeous color and plant. We are all royalty now! Katie’s artistic heart & hands deliver different indigo designs so each is a unique piece of art!  Katie has been on the search to create the perfect gluten and sugar-free cookie treat for all to enjoy. Her chocolate chip cookie is exquisite and every person that tries her treats cannot believe that there’s no sugar! Her skin cream is all natural with the highest antioxidant Chaga. Katie loves living a natural healthy lifestyle and it shows in her unique and amazing cookies and creams! 

Our mission is to spread joy, health & happiness through our indigo fashion, cookies n creams! Our clothes are always 100% breathable cotton! Everything is dyed with the highest quality natural indigo! Katie hand designs each piece. Katie lives by the ocean in Santa Cruz, California where the ocean meets the sky. The indigo colors match this heavenly paradise on earth. Katie’s cookies are sweet treat for those trying to combat sugar blues and other dietary issues. Katie ‘s sugar-free chocolate chip are gluten free and diabetic friendly. Katie‘s skin balm is great all purpose, all natural & non-allergenic and is all she uses on her body! Chaga mushroom is the highest antioxidant in the world and a superfood addition to her products! 

Katie only uses 100% cotton for all of her clothes and indigo pieces. The indigo comes from India and Africa. Katie makes her own indigo dying vat with the 321 method.  We only use the freshest and highest-quality ingredients in our cookies and creams!
